Gold Road Resources is a mid-tier Australian gold producer and explorer with a Tier 1 mine and exploration projects in Western Australia’s north-eastern Goldfields. The company’s flagship asset is the Gruyere Gold Project, a joint venture with Gold Fields Ltd. located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt. Gold Road Resources is committed to responsible and sustainable mining practices, and works closely with local communities to ensure positive social and economic outcomes, whilst pioneering development of Australia’s newest goldfield.
Our challenge was to design Gold Road Resources’ annual reporting suite of documents, including their Corporate Governance Statement, Annual Report, Sustainability Report and Modern Slavery Statement, applying a consistent theme that reflected the current stage of the company and its progress.
To meet this challenge, we established a Future Ready art direction with modern effects, colours and image treatments to reflect Gold Road Resources resilience and preparedness as they return to business as usual after years of Covid-19 adaptations and interruptions.
In 2021, The Brand Foundry was engaged by Westgold Resources to design their Sustainability Report with a digital-first approach. We utilised a widescreen-friendly landscape format that could later be printed, but felt natural to view on screen.
